The Design Bank have recently been commissioned to relook at the design for the Virgin Balloon Flights website. A major consideration was the communication to the prospective purchasers for flights, and the ease of accessibility throughout.

The Design Bank have been tasked with the challenge of caring for the new look for Virgin Balloon Flights. A number of marketing initiatives have been actioned, including the landmark celebration of their 20 years of flight.

Thereafter, application of the brand was integrated within numerous communication messages. Above the line advertising including full page adverts in consumer publications such as Waitrose, Good Housekeeping and Marks & Spencer magazines, were the order of the day.

PR included introducing the famous Virgin Balloon Flights Race, Jazz FM Radio sponsorship, and deals with sites such as the National Union of Students, LivingSocial and Groupon.

E-marketing followed with multiple seasonal promotion campaigns, along with Facebook competitions and supportive social media activity.
